How Raypad works

What each part does, and what it doesn't.

Launching

Sign in with your wallet and pay a small launch fee (0.05 SOL), which covers the rent and the private bundle. If a launch is refused or doesn't land, the fee stays as a credit for your next one. Raypad's platform wallet then creates the token on Raydium LaunchLab under Raypad's own platform, with no initial buy and no pre-allocation, so nobody, including the creator and Raypad, receives tokens at creation.

Vanity mints

Every Raypad mint address ends in ray (case-sensitive). Addresses are pre-generated, stored encrypted until a launch uses one, and wiped once used. The RAY Mint badge appears only on a confirmed token whose mint actually ends in the suffix. It marks where the token was created; it is not a safety endorsement.

Fees, and which ones are Raypad's

  • Raydium protocol fee: collected and kept by Raydium. Not Raypad revenue.
  • LaunchLab creator-fee share: paid on-chain to the token's creator account, which is Raypad's platform wallet for every token. It funds that token's buybacks. No person receives it today.
  • After graduation: the Raydium pool charges 0.25% to liquidity plus a 0.75% creator fee: 0.5% keeps buying back the token, 0.25% goes to the platform.
  • Network costs for buybacks are paid from Raypad's operating balance and are not deducted from a token's allocation.

Coming soon: creator fees that vest

Creators will earn a cut of the fees, unlocked by holder count and token age rather than volume, so a creator's best move is growing the token instead of leaving it. Until that ships, creator trading-fee payouts are not available and every token's creator-fee share goes to its buybacks.

Buybacks

Trading fees Raypad receives buy the token from its market. On the bonding curve, the tokens bought are permanently burned. After graduation, the tokens bought are paired with quote as new pool liquidity and the LP tokens are burned, so that liquidity can't be withdrawn. This returns fee activity to the token; it does not guarantee any price or protect against losses. The indexer reads every trade's on-chain event, so each token's fees are attributed exactly. Every cycle appears in the Burn Center with links to its transactions; a cycle still in progress is shown as exactly that.

Copycat checks

Tickers are compared after folding case, spacing, lookalike letters and leetspeak. Names can't be copies with words like "official" or "2.0" added. Images can't be resized or recolored copies. Tickers already trading elsewhere with significant liquidity are refused. These checks reduce impersonation; they can't rule it out.

Early buyers

The create is sent as a private bundle with no other transactions in it, designed to prevent mint publication before creation confirms. LaunchLab has no on-chain trading delay or sniper tax, so once a token exists anyone can trade it. Raypad flags buys in the first few slots and shows how much supply those wallets still hold, rather than claiming to prevent them.

Graduation

When the curve's raise reaches its target, Raydium migrates liquidity to a CPMM pool and the LP is burnt, so graduation liquidity can't be pulled.
